another reminder that none of this is real
a step back in the right direction
to figure out two rights do make a wrong
while the stress eats away at what little sanity you have left
i'm kicking the habit
no more making myself public
no more goodwill for worthless hopefuls
anxious and unsteady
i can't understand the lies my life leads to believe
to break all ties and look away
with no words to sway you or this slew of those misunderstood
and i digress
to the point my life lessons failed to teach
you were the only one i was willing to keep.
