i keep walking, dreaming, and hoping for a positive change.
so much to wait for and so much to be plausibly regressed
all the blood spilled and eyes gouged out of their sockets
just for one moment of complete and utter joy
we smile and act like something could be
all love falls on false pretenses
we watch as the world cheats
each portion of the equation waits for something better.

been alone so long the idea of a relationship doesn't cross my mind anymore
my head has never felt lighter and my body feels ever so nauseous.

and as i sit here contemplating the meaning of disaster
my mind races through alternate paths
all to the same destination
with different endings these destinations take a turn for the worst
much to my surprise my attempts at love fell off every track
collisions with denial and blood spattered failure
one too much for any decent human being to endure
to say i am sorry would be a lie
nothing to be sorry for as my regrets take hold
love is just another way of saying this world is cold
my head never has anything good to say
that's why i only write in under-case.

I had it wrong

this whole time I believed in the wrong things. i believed in careless courage when I should've believed in a careful analysis of the situation. there seems to be this force of unnatural hatred and disdain that stands in my way every time I think I am getting somewhere. I will crush it all. as for all those people who lift me up to watch me fall I am ignoring every one of you and living for myself. no longer will I sit on the train tracks just to get hit. this is my revelation.
